Why Pediatric Readiness Matters
Children represent a substantial proportion of emergency department visits, yet many facilities report gaps in pediatric-specific equipment, protocols, training, and team preparedness.
This course directly supports institutional Pediatric Readiness initiatives by focusing on:
- Standardized Pediatric Resuscitation Approaches
- Airway and Procedural Confidence
- Crisis Resource Management
- Identifying Opportunities for Systems Improvement
- Strengthening Institutional Readiness for High-Acuity Pediatric Traumas
Emphasis is placed not only on individual skill development, but also on systems awareness, communication, and actionable strategies to enhance institutional Pediatric Readiness.
Space is intentionally limited to preserve small-group learning and maximize hands-on participation.
