Amir Mansour, MD

Amir Mansour, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Yale University. He also holds positions as the Director of EMS Simulation and Research Coordinator for the Department of Simulation within Yale's Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Mansour was nominated by his department and is currently in the prestigious Yale Education Scholars Fellowship.

Dr. Mansour's academic journey began in Ohio at Northeast Ohio Medical University where he completed an accelerated BS/MD program. He then completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Wright State University/Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Following his residency, Dr. Mansour pursued a fellowship at the Yale Center for Healthcare Simulation, where he currently works.

In his multifaceted roles at Yale, Dr. Mansour is dedicated to improving emergency medical training and research through innovative simulation techniques. His leadership in EMS Simulation enables him to direct complex training scenarios that enhance the practical skills of medical professionals. As Research Coordinator, Dr. Mansour oversees various studies aimed at advancing simulation methodologies and improving patient care outcomes.

Dr. Mansour's outstanding contributions to medicine and education have been recognized through several prestigious awards. He received the 2022 AAEM/RSA Founders Circle Sponsorship, the 2024 IMSH/SSH Beverlee Anderson Education Scholar award, and the 2025 SAEM Annual Meeting Fellow Award. These honors underscore his dedication to excellence and innovation in emergency medicine and medical education.
