Geriatric Trauma Workshop

Presented by ITLS experts from right here in Ohio, this interactive workshop focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to geriatric trauma assessment and management. First, review risk factors in the geriatric population, discuss physiologic changes associated with aging, compare and contrast mechanisms of injury, and identify common challenges for assessment of geriatric patients. Then integrate your knowledge through practical application of the core principles in a fun and challenging geriatric obstacle course.

Eligibility: Open to any level of provider; no prerequisites. This is not a certification course.
