Ohio EMS Grant Applications Are Due Friday April 1, 2011

The Ohio Emergency Medical Services Grant applications for Priorities 1, 2, 3, & 4 for 2011-2012 are due by 5:00 P.M. Friday April 1, 2011. Applications must be postmarked or hand delivered to the Ohio Division of EMS office by the date and time indicated to be considered for funding. The applications must be sent to the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services, 1970 West Broad Street, P.O. Box 182073, Columbus, OH 43218-2073. Priority one applications may be completed electronically. There is only a hard copy application available for priorities 2, 3, & 4. No late applications will be considered for funding.

Priority 1 training and equipment applications may be completed electronically at the Ohio EMS website. Go to the grants section. Select, “Already have username and password” and proceed to the electronic application. If you do not already have a username and password, you must obtain them through the EMS website. If you already have a password, remember to use your Ohio driver’s license as your username.  

Awards will be based upon the number of seatbelt fines available for this award year.  Funds will be disbursed through a reimbursement process.
